About Women United
Our nationally-recognized network of women philanthropists unite year after year in an ongoing effort to bring groundbreaking solutions that improve lives. Our $7 million endowment is the largest of its kind in the country, thanks in part to our 10 for 10 program, which challenges 10 women each year to invest $10,000 in braking barriers for women and children.
Additionally, we’ve helped launch transformative initiatives based in research and best practices to create change in our community. In 2012, we launched United for Children to align community resources around the success of our children. This year, we are funding a pilot program that introduces an innovative model called Mobility Mentoring®, which uses a proven coaching model to move families toward financial stability.
