How can I pledge through my workplace campaign if it happens after October 1?

Your pledge simply acts as your promise to give. By making your pledge for the Fall Luncheon, you are saying that you plan to give a certain amount during your workplace campaign or at a later date if you haven’t already made your payment. Your donation will not be counted twice. If you still have additional questions, email Sherri Stein at

Do I have to make my pledge to attend the event?

You do not have to make your pledge to attend the event. However, only those who have pledged for 2021 will receive a virtual ballot at the event to help us decide how we will invest over $50,000 into the community.

Can I invite others to attend the event?

Absolutely! If you know of someone who is interested in joining Women United, simply send them to this webpage ( so they may register.

Will others be able to see or hear me during the event?

No, this event will be held in presentation-mode only. That said, you will be able to chat with others in the virtual environment. This is a great opportunity to say hello to the presenters, ask questions to United Way staff members and connect with friends!

If I pledge and decide not to use payroll deductions, how can I be sure it is counted towards my company's campaign?

When you make your pledge, please be sure to make note of your employer. This is how your pledge will be associated with your employer’s campaign—regardless of how you choose to make your donation. If you have further questions, email Sherri Stein at

What is the Women United Endowment Fund?

The Women United Endowment Fund is the largest endowment fund of its kind in the nation and invests to create long-term community solutions to help move women and children towards self-sufficiency. You may designate up to 50% of your pledge to the Women United Endowment Fund.

    I registered, now what?

Make sure to add the event to your calendar! Once online pledging is available, you should receive information on how to complete your pledge so that you receive your vote during the event. If you have questions, please email Sherri Stein at
