Started 27 years ago from the observation that non-profit board membership rarely reflected the population that the non-profits most often served, the award-winning and nationally recognized Project Inclusion Board Governance Leadership Development Program annually identifies, teaches, and trains members of the community to serve as efficiently active and knowledgeable participants on boards of directors. Over 875 participants have graduated from the 15-week training program with leadership skills and awareness of the responsibilities of board memberships; skill sets that enhance active engagement in non-profit and for-profit community-based organizations, civic league groups, and any organization that has board governance responsibilities.
